Tap-Takeover Fundraiser
Mark your calendars! We’re taking over the taps at Mule Car Smokehouse on Wed., July 23rd. Join us for a Tap-Takeover Fundraiser benefiting our foundation, with every dollar raised reinvested directly into the community we proudly protect.
Come hungry, thirsty, and stick around for a live Concert in the Park featuring DSB, a Journey Tribute Band. Let’s raise a glass for a great cause—see ya’ there!
Route 66 Community Engagement & Fundraiser
The Route 66 Community Engagement & Fundraiser, hosted by the Ontario Professional Firefighters Foundation, is a fun-filled day where firefighters and community members come together during the excitement of the Route 66 Classic Car Show.
This unique event gives firefighters the chance to connect with residents in a relaxed, family-friendly setting—while raising funds to give back to the community we serve.
All proceeds raised go directly to local causes. In 2024, funds were proudly donated to support community reading programs, helping to promote literacy and provide valuable resources to readers of all ages.
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Firefighter Stair Climb
In 2025, more than 20 of Ontario’s bravest firefighters participated in the annual Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle, one of the most physically demanding and meaningful events in the fire service community. This worldwide event, open exclusively to career, volunteer, and retired firefighters, draws over 2,000 participants each year to scale the Columbia Center—the tallest building in Seattle. Firefighters climb 69 flights, 1,356 steps, and gain 788 feet of vertical elevation, all while wearing full gear and breathing apparatus.
The climb is a powerful tribute to those battling blood cancers, symbolizing the grueling journey patients endure every day. Each firefighter commits to raising a minimum of $300 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), with proceeds supporting critical research, treatment, and patient services. Since the event’s inception in 1991, more than $28 million has been raised for LLS.
Saint Patty's Day Fundraiser
The Saint Patty’s Day Fundraiser, hosted by the Ontario Professional Firefighters Foundation, is a lively and festive event that brings the community together to celebrate, connect, and give back—all while embracing the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day!
It’s a fun-filled day where residents can engage with their local firefighters, enjoy great company, and support a meaningful cause.
Proceeds from the event go directly toward community-focused initiatives. In 2024, funds were proudly used to purchase Stop the Bleed kits for our local schools—equipping them with life-saving tools and empowering staff and students with emergency preparedness.
Join us for a day of celebration and impact, and help us make a difference in the lives of those we serve!
Charity Golf Classic
Join us for a fun and competitive day on the greens at the Ontario Professional Firefighters Charity Golf Classic! This exciting annual event brings together firefighters, supporters, and community members for a day of camaraderie, friendly competition, and giving back.
All proceeds go directly toward supporting our local community and the families of injured firefighters. Last year’s event helped fund local youth baseball and softball teams, giving kids the opportunity to play, grow, and build team spirit.
Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or just out for a good time, your participation helps us continue making a meaningful impact. Come swing for a cause, enjoy a great day outdoors, and support those who risk their lives to keep us safe!
Charity Softball Tournament
Join us for our upcoming Charity Firefighters Softball Tournament, a day of teamwork, community spirit, and friendly competition—all in support of a cause that hits close to home.
This year, we are coming together not only for the love of the game, but to honor and raise funds for one of our own—a fallen firefighter.
Proceeds from the tournament will go directly toward supporting the family and legacy of our fallen brother, reminding us all of the strength, unity, and dedication that defines the firefighting community.
Come out, cheer on the teams, and stand with us as we play in remembrance, with purpose and pride.
